Choreographer Tim Rushton of Danish Dance Theater trained in ballet, but there is little obvious classical ballet in his work. Rushton’s dances are about centrifugal force, whipcrack energy, and explosive contact improvisation. This is dance that compels thought; a highly original, paradoxical and thrilling world of infatuation, obsession, confusion, light, hope and eternity. Program will include Tim Rushton’s Kridt and Shadowland.
